Singer Vianney, acting as godfather for the current season of Star Academy, faced social media criticism regarding the musical lineup for the October 24 live broadcast. Critics argued the selection lacked diversity and focused too heavily on French variety music. Vianney defended the programming as a personal selection, highlighting the inclusion of artists such as Zazie, Clara Ysé, and Helena.

During the October 24 broadcast, Vianney served as a mentor and performed duets with students, including a performance with Isabella. The episode also featured a group performance of a French adaptation of ‘Hallelujah’, which led to emotional distress for student Cameron, who expressed feeling ‘disgusted’ after missing a line in the song.
