During the Star Academy broadcast on TF1, contestant Elija experienced an emotional breakdown following a duet with guest artist Adèle Castillon. After performing ‘Été avec toi’, Elija expressed feelings of illegitimacy, stating, ‘I feel like I am out of my body and not succeeding in coming back.’

Subsequent tensions emerged at the academy as students prepared for evaluations themed around mentor Vianney.
