STARLUX Airlines launched the ‘STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA’ project, a collaboration featuring two Airbus A350-1000 aircraft with special liveries: ‘AIRSORAYAMA Gold’ and ‘AIRSORAYAMA Silver’. The project incorporates the mechanical aesthetics of artist Kohei Nakanishi.

The gold aircraft began its inaugural flight on August 20, traveling from Taipei to Tokyo, with subsequent routes planned for Bangkok and Prague. The silver aircraft was unveiled simultaneously on the same route. 

As the project progressed, the aircraft entered active service on routes connecting Taipei to Tokyo, Bangkok, and Prague. Starting October 1, the airline scheduled these special flights to include exclusive themed amenities, such as special boarding passes and cocktails.
