The State Bank of India (SBI) progressed through the recruitment stages for 1,500 Probationary Officer positions in August 2026.

Following the preliminary examinations held on August 1 and 2, the bank released the results on August 28. Subsequently, SBI published the cut-off marks and scorecards, noting that 15,802 candidates were shortlisted for the Phase II Mains Exam. The General category cut-off was recorded at 66.25.
