Sun Group, through a consortium including Central Technical Infrastructure Management and Service Co., Ltd and Da Nang Sun Real Estate Service Co., Ltd, is progressing with the An Phu (Dao Ngoc) new urban area project in Quang Ngai province. The development spans approximately 162 hectares and is valued at roughly 9,727 billion VND.

The project plan includes a mix of 585 villas, 1,573 terraced houses, 1,948 apartment units, and 1,530 social housing units, alongside commercial, educational, healthcare, and sports facilities. 

Local authorities have begun inspecting the site to expedite compensation, resettlement, and site clearance. While initial reports estimated the impact on approximately 374 households, subsequent updates indicate the affected area in Truong Quang Trong ward involves over 1,200 households and individuals. The provincial Land Fund Development Center is working to clear 70-80 hectares of agricultural land to facilitate implementation.
