In July 2026, Sunfire was named the preferred technology partner for Finland’s Ren-Gas. The partnership focuses on providing alkaline pressurised electrolyzers, including the HyLink® Alkaline 23 system, to support future green hydrogen and e-methane projects. This follows previous collaborations, such as a 20 MW alkaline electrolyser commissioned at the Harjavalta plant in March 2025. By August 2026, Sunfire commenced construction of a high-temperature solid oxide electrolyzer cell (SOEC) test plant at the BASF industrial site in Schwarzheide, Germany.
