Developments: 4. Suwon Samsung has maintained a strong performance in the K League 2, extending a winning streak through consecutive victories. On October 11, the team secured a 4-1 win against Ansan Greeners, driven by a hat-trick from striker Luis. This victory brought Suwon Samsung to 56 points and extended their lead over second-place Suwon FC to five points. Manager Lee Jung-hyo attributed the success to the integration of young players and the return of key personnel. Following this, Suwon Samsung extended their winning streak to six matches with a 3-2 victory over Hwaseong FC. Despite a second-half comeback attempt by Hwaseong, Suwon Samsung held their lead to reach 59 points, maintaining a five-point gap at the top of the standings. On October 25, the club set a new record for consecutive regular-season wins after a 2-0 victory against Seongnam FC. Goals from Kang Hyeon-muk and an own goal by Seongnam’s Lee Sang-min extended the winning streak to seven matches and the unbeaten run to 12 matches. Now sitting at the top of the league with 62 points, Suwon Samsung requires only five more points from their final four matches to secure the league title and automatic promotion to K League 1. The promotion race remains complex due to the scheduled K League 2 semi-playoffs and playoffs in December. While Suwon Samsung leads the race for automatic promotion, the battle for second place has intensified, with Suwon FC and Seoul E-Land currently tied at 54 points. ## Claims - Suwon Samsung defeated Seongnam FC 2-0 in a K League 2 Round 30 match.
