Sweden is facing increasing food security risks driven by rising global prices, geopolitical tensions, and climate-related crop failures in Europe. The industry organization Coceral estimates that summer heat has reduced expected grain harvests in the EU and UK by approximately nine million tons, while the El Niño phenomenon threatens to further disrupt global supply chains.
