The Sweden men’s national football team has experienced significant roster changes ahead of Nations League B matches. Initially, manager Graham Potter called up Fulham midfielder Hugo Larsson to replace the injured Mattias Svanberg for upcoming fixtures against Romania and Poland.

However, the squad subsequently faced a broader crisis involving multiple illnesses and injuries. Key players including Alexander Isak, Dejan Kulusevski, and Anthony Elanga were listed as unavailable, alongside several others affected by illness. In response, Potter called in replacements such as Felix Beijmo, Samuel Dahl, Hugo Bolin, and Ken Sema. While some players, including Patrik Wålemark and Elliot Stroud, were unable to recover in time for matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania, Potter stated the situation provides an opportunity for fringe players to prove themselves.
