In late September 2026, the Swedish heavy metal band Wolf released the single and music video ‘Waltz Post-Mortem’ from their upcoming tenth studio album, ‘Hour Of The Wolf’. Singer Niklas Stålvind described the track as having an unusual arrangement with a 3/4 time chorus. The accompanying music video was filmed in an abandoned forest house and described by Stålvind as being more of a ‘short film than a traditional music video’.

On October 9, 2026, the Swedish punk and metal band Wolfbrigade released their twelfth album, ‘Howl From Underground’. The album features twelve tracks blending D-Beat, crust punk, death metal, and rock’n’roll, continuing the band’s ‘Lycanthro-punk’ style. The release includes the return of drummer David ‘Dadde’ Stark.
