Swiss and Liechtenstein football clubs are facing significant competitive challenges. In the Liechtenstein 2. Liga, FC Vaduz II and FC Schaan are both struggling with high squad turnover and injuries.

In Swiss football, the defending champion FC Thun is in a critical position following three consecutive losses. With the league’s weakest defense, conceding 22 goals, the club faces the risk of dropping to the bottom of the table if they lose their upcoming match against newly promoted FC Vaduz, especially as they will be playing without captain Marco Bürki due to suspension.
