The ZSC Lions have extended their perfect start to the Swiss National League, securing a seventh consecutive victory with a 6-3 win over Biel. This latest win, featuring goals from Baltisberger, Lammikko, Balcers, Strömwall, Knak, and Malgin, has increased their lead to nine points.

The Lions’ continued dominance is linked to the leadership of new coach Claude Julien, whose disciplined approach has revitalized the squad. Key contributors include Simon Knak, who has recorded five goals, and defender Tim Berni.

While the Lions appear poised to win the qualification phase, the rest of the league remains highly competitive. The gap between the second-ranked team and the bottom-ranked Lugano is only six points, making the battle to avoid the final position uncertain. Notably, HC Ajoie has demonstrated unexpected strength by reaching sixth place.
