The Sydney Swans AFLW team has maintained a strong performance in recent matches at Henson Park. In mid-September, the Swans defeated the GWS Giants by 31 points in a Sydney derby that drew a record crowd of 7,340 spectators. While Chloe Molloy led the scoring with four goals, the team faced a setback when Sofia Hurley was stretchered off with an ankle injury.

By late September, the Swans secured a 37-23 victory over the Brisbane Lions. This win improved their record to 6-1, moving them back into the AFLW top four and keeping their minor premiership hopes alive.
