American fast-food chain Taco Bell is expanding into the Croatian market, starting with two planned locations in Zagreb’s Arena Centar and City Center One West shopping malls. This expansion is supported by a €9.9 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), intended to promote circular business models and sustainable resource use. Following the Croatian launch, the brand intends to enter Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Subsequent updates confirmed that the first restaurant, located in the Arena Centar, is scheduled to officially open on Friday, October 2, 2026.
