Labor departments in Taiwan have implemented various programs to promote vocational skills, entrepreneurship, and workplace welfare.

In mid-October, regional departments in Kaohsiung and Taoyuan hosted showcases to highlight professional development. Kaohsiung organized the ‘Ambition Without Limits’ exhibition to feature entrepreneurial brands across various creative sectors. Simultaneously, Taoyuan held the ‘Taoyuan Heritage, Skillful Mastery’ event to bridge traditional crafts, such as wood carving and bamboo weaving, with modern vocational training.

By late October, the focus shifted toward recognizing corporate excellence in labor relations. In Taichung, authorities honored 33 business units for optimizing work environments through benefits like profit-sharing and AI-integrated training. In Kaohsiung, the “Warm City Project” recognized 14 companies for fostering inclusive environments, including initiatives for parents, LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and support for an aging workforce.
