Taiwanese industries are engaging in various international trade exhibitions and showcases throughout 2026.

In August, preparations were announced for upcoming events, including the 9th Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair in Taipei, which features a “Born by Nature: GemVerse” showcase. Additionally, medical material manufacturer ICP DAS-BMP planned to demonstrate medical-grade thermoplastic polyurethane solutions at Medical Manufacturing Asia in Singapore.

By September, the Taiwan Expo 2026 was held in Manila, Philippines. The event featured the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion and a Premium Lifestyle Pavilion, showcasing 50 award-winning products from 24 brands. The exhibition focused on intelligent technology, smart healthcare, and sustainable innovations, such as rPET recycled fabrics, to connect Taiwanese manufacturers with Philippine distributors and retailers.

Expanding its international presence, the Ministry of Economic Affairs organized a Taiwan Flagship Pavilion at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago. Featuring 56 Taiwanese companies, the pavilion focused on aerospace and semiconductor applications to help businesses capitalize on US manufacturing upgrades and supply chain restructuring, facilitating approximately $51.8 million in business opportunities.

Looking toward 2027, the 6th Kaohsiung Smart City Expo is scheduled for March 18–20 in Kaohsiung. Organized by the Kaohsiung City Government, the Taiwan Smart City Industry Alliance, and the Taipei Computer Association, the event will target sovereign AI, smart healthcare, low-carbon transportation, and net-zero technology.
