Talleres de Córdoba continues to manage various levels of competition within the Argentine football landscape. In the professional Clausura tournament, manager Omar De Felippe has considered lineup adjustments, including the potential return of Federico Fattori and Román Riquelme, to improve the team’s standing.

In the 11th round of the Torneo Clausura at the Mario Alberto Kempes Stadium, Belgrano defeated Talleres 1-0 in the ‘Clásico Cordobés’. Ramiro Hernández scored the decisive goal in the 41st minute of the second half following a counterattack. Despite Talleres having significant opportunities, including a shot by Rick Lima Morais that struck the post and a free kick by Giovanni Baroni that hit the crossbar, Belgrano goalkeeper Manuel Vicentini maintained a clean sheet.

The result has significant implications for the tournament standings: Belgrano, managed by Ricardo Zielinski, moved to the top of Zone B with 19 points, while Talleres remains at the bottom of Zone A with eight points, deepening the crisis for manager Omar De Felippe.

Violence and tension marked the derby. Prior to kickoff, the Belgrano team bus was struck by stones thrown by fans, damaging a side window; two individuals were detained and faced admission bans. Tensions escalated after Belgrano scored, as objects were thrown from the stands toward Belgrano players while they attempted to leave the pitch. During the ensuing chaos, a Talleres official reportedly attempted to approach the visiting players before being restrained by club security. No players or staff were injured during these incidents. Talleres president Andrés Fassi described the attack as ‘vergonzoso’ (shameful).
