Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has discussed her preparation for portraying the Chhath Puja festival in her upcoming film projects. 

Initially, Bhatia shared her research into the traditions of Bihar and Patna to authentically depict the ritual in the song ‘Chhathi Maiyya’ for the film ‘The One’. 

Following this, Bhatia described her emotional experience filming a Chhath Puja sequence for the fantasy-folklore film ‘The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest’. During a trailer launch, she noted the spiritual depth of the 36-hour fast. The film’s production has also drawn attention to the Van Devi Temple, a 400-year-old shrine near Bihta, Bihar, which is central to local folklore.
