The gastronomy platform TasteAtlas has released various rankings for global soups based on user evaluations.

Initially, Hungarian cherry soup (meggyleves) was recognized as one of the top 27 best cold soups in the world, securing the 11th position. The ranking was compiled using 2,163 verified votes to reflect authentic preferences.

In a subsequent broader ranking involving over 33,000 evaluations, Turkey’s Beyran soup from Gaziantep was ranked second globally. Other Turkish entries, such as lentil soup, tomato soup, and kelle paça, also appeared in the rankings. The top position in this global list was held by Paraguay’s Vori-vori soup.
