In the rooftop solar sector, Tata Power Solaroof surpassed 5.67 GWp of cumulative capacity through 575,000 installations. The company saw a 33% year-on-year increase in installations during the second quarter, with Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra emerging as key regional contributors.

Simultaneously, Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) expanded its utility-scale capacity by over 130% in the second quarter compared to the previous year. This expansion included the commissioning of 419 MW of utility-scale capacity and 131.2 MWhr of battery energy storage. TPREL’s total operational portfolio has reached 7.2 GW, comprising solar, wind, and battery storage assets, with a target to reach nearly 9.3 GW of executed projects by the end of the fiscal year.
