In late September, it was announced that a ‘Hounou Pro Wrestling’ event would be held at the Torikai Hachimangu Shrine in Fukuoka on October 3, 2026. This event, which includes children’s classes and dedication matches, is intended to honor both Fujinami’s career and the recent reconstruction of the shrine, drawing historical parallels to Rikidozan’s 1961 event at Yasukuni Shrine. Following this, the promotion Dragon announced the match card for the ‘TATSUMI FUJINAMI 55th CELEBRATION DRAGON EXPO 2026’ at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on November 6. The main event features Fujinami teaming with Zack Sabre Jr. against Wolf Aaron and Tatsuya Matsumoto. The card also includes matches celebrating Mitsuya Nagai’s 35th anniversary and a single match featuring Fujinami’s son, LEONA. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-30: Tatsumi Fujinami announces 55th anniversary match card Tatsumi Fujinami announced the full match card for his 55th anniversary celebration at Korakuen Hall on November 6, featuring a main event tag match against Wolf Aaron and Tatsuya Matsumoto. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/tatsumi-fujinami-announces-55th-anniversary-match-card ### 2026-09-19: Tatsumi Fujinami to hold wrestling event at Torikai Hachimangu Tatsumi Fujinami will host a free ‘Hounou Pro Wrestling’ dedication event at Fukuoka’s Torikai Hachimangu Shrine on October 3, 2026, marking his 55th anniversary and the shrine's reconstruction. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/tatsumi-fujinami-to-hold-wrestling-event-at-torikai-hachimangu --- Cite as: Tatsumi Fujinami 55th anniversary celebrations.
