In Fernandópolis, a teacher was suspended following allegations of exchanging sexual messages with students aged 10 to 12. The investigation was initiated after a school employee overheard students discussing social media conversations. Reports indicate the messages included invitations to a cinema and a motel. In Potirendaba, a teacher was suspended after making racist and political remarks in the classroom. Security footage, which includes audio, captured the educator making comments linking political figures to fascism and suggesting that in a fascist regime, only wealthy, white individuals would survive. The teacher allegedly told 11-year-old students that a fascist regime would result in an era of ‘only whites and the rich.’

The teacher also allegedly used the term ‘pezinho na senzala’ (a foot in the slave quarters) when responding to a student. Following a report from a parent to Mayor Gislaine Franzotti, the municipal administration opened an administrative inquiry and referred the case to the Labor Public Ministry, the Child and Youth Court, and the Guardianship Council. Local police are investigating potential crimes of racism and electoral offenses.
