The Japanese art collective teamLab has expanded its presence in the United States through new exhibitions and long-term infrastructure projects.

In October 2026, the collective launched an expansive exhibition titled ‘teamLab: Everything Exists in Infinite Continuity’ at the Smart Museum of Art at the University of Chicago. The showcase features nine monumental installations that utilize interactive technology to explore the intersection of art, science, and technology.

Later in the same month, teamLab announced plans to open its first permanent museum in the United States. The facility, located in Anaheim, California, will be part of the OCVIBE entertainment district. The approximately 110,000-square-foot museum is projected to open in 2030.
