The Teatro Colón premiered ‘Principio de éxtasis’, a contemporary ballet inspired by the literary works of Jorge Luis Borges, specifically ‘El Aleph’. Directed by Julio Bocca with choreography by Goyo Montero, the production utilizes an original score by Gustavo Santaolalla and voice-over readings by actor Ricardo Darín to explore themes such as labyrinths and cyclical time.

Following its initial run, the Ballet Estable announced it would broadcast the final performance of the production live and free of charge on September 20. This closing performance, featuring various principal dancers and the full ensemble, was made available to global audiences via the theater’s official website and social media channels.
