Telix Pharmaceuticals has entered into an agreement to acquire ITM Isotope Technologies Munich SE in a deal valued at up to US$2.35 billion. The acquisition, which involves an upfront payment of US$1.65 billion and up to US$700 million in contingent consideration, aims to strengthen Telix’s position in the global radiopharmaceutical and radioisotope markets.

Following the proposal, Telix CEO Dr. Chris Behrenbruch characterized the merger as a “transformative step” to address the increasing global demand for therapeutic isotopes. While the announcement coincided with a 12% decline in Telix shares, the company continues to advance its clinical research, including presenting various Phase 3 studies and research into targeted alpha therapy at the European Association of Nuclear Medicine congress.
