Tempsens Instruments (India) Ltd launched a Rs 650 crore initial public offering (IPO) with a price band of Rs 285-300 per equity share. The issue, which opened on August 20 and closed on August 24, comprised a fresh issue of Rs 95 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 555 crore. The company intended to use proceeds for capital expenditure in electrical heating and specialized cable solutions, debt repayment, and general corporate purposes.

The subscription period saw high demand, with an overall subscription rate of 184.07 times. The Udaipur-based manufacturer, which is India’s largest temperature sensor manufacturer, reported strong financial growth leading up to the listing, with revenue, EBITDA, and PAT compound annual growth rates of 27.2%, 35.2%, and 28.2% respectively between FY24 and FY26.
