The Cabildo de Tenerife is undertaking several major infrastructure projects across the island.

At the Santiago Martín Sports Pavilion, climatization works are underway to install a new climate control system. This phase involves dismantling false ceilings at the upper stands and is being conducted in stages to minimize disruption to sports activities. The total investment for thermal improvements at the facility, including previous upgrades to locker rooms and VIP areas, exceeds 1.7 million euros. The system is projected to be operational by the end of the first quarter of 2027.

Simultaneously, the Tenerife Council has launched a tender for technical supervision services to oversee repairs at the Auditorio Adán Martín. With a base budget of approximately 1.2 million euros, the 40-month contract will cover project management and safety coordination. The repair process will utilize LiDAR laser scanning and drone technology to create a 3D digital model of the building to determine the exact amount of ‘trencadís’ cladding requiring replacement.
