Ternana has faced a challenging period in the Serie D championship, characterized by player injuries and difficulty securing wins.

Ahead of a matchup against Tau Altopascio, Ternana coach Andrea Lisuzzo noted a need for a new approach following a difficult start to the season. The squad dealt with several absences due to muscle trauma, injuries, and suspensions, while new player Frederick Ndongue worked to integrate into the team.

Following that period, Ternana played to a 0-0 draw against Scandicci at the Comunale di San Casciano Val di Pesa. While the result provided Ternana with their first away point of the season, the team remained in the play-out zone, trailing the league leaders by eight points.

Coach Andrea Lisuzzo expressed satisfaction with his team’s defensive improvements but voiced frustration regarding officiating. He specifically highlighted a denied penalty on Falletti, stating, ‘the penalty on Falletti was very clear: there was no reason to fall in the area if there wasn't contact.’ Despite controlling much of the play, Ternana struggled to convert chances into goals. Scandicci coach Mirko Taccola, a former Ternana player, described the opposition as a ‘very tough’ team and a likely protagonist of the championship.
