B2U Storage Solutions has commenced commercial operations at its Bexar Martinez battery energy storage installation near San Antonio, Texas. The 28-MWh project is built entirely from repurposed electric vehicle batteries, marking the company’s second “second-life” energy storage project within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) market.
