In September 2026, the Texas Rangers organization highlighted individual achievements within their farm system and addressed upcoming roster management challenges.

The team announced its minor league award winners, naming infielder Rafe Perich as the Tom Grieve Player of the Year and pitcher Dalton Pence as the Nolan Ryan Minor League Pitcher of the Year.

As the season concluded, the organization faced complex roster restructuring. The team must manage a full 40-man roster while reintegrating six players from the 60-day injured list. While free agency for certain players is expected to reduce the total count, the organization remains focused on addressing bullpen depth and protecting minor league prospects from the Rule 5 Draft. Amidst these transitions, reliever Peyton Gray emerged as a notable performer, finishing the season with a 6-0 record and a 3.86 ERA.
