Sources: 3. Developments: 2. A scheduling conflict emerged between the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Civil examination, set for November 6 and 7, 2026, and the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Junior Engineer examination, held from November 2 to 6. In response to the clash, TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham held discussions with the SSC Chairman. The TGPSC announced it would attempt to accommodate eligible applicants on November 7 where feasible. Candidates with conflicting SSC JE dates were instructed to submit documentation by October 30 to request arrangements. Following these developments, the Telangana High Court rejected a petition seeking to postpone the TGPSC AEE examinations. Petitioners argued that candidates assigned to distant centers would be unable to return to Telangana within 24 hours. The TGPSC opposed the postponement, noting that over 40,000 candidates are expected to participate, and maintained it would continue to consider individual representations to facilitate appearances at district headquarters. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-31: Telangana High Court rejects postponement of TGPSC AEE exams The Telangana High Court refused to postpone the TGPSC Assistant Executive Engineer exams scheduled for November 6-7, despite candidate concerns regarding a clash with SSC Junior Engineer exams. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/telangana-high-court-rejects-postponement-of-tgpsc-aee-exams ### 2026-10-27: TGPSC announces exam scheduling arrangements for AEE Civil candidates TGPSC is offering alternative exam dates on November 7 for AEE Civil candidates facing a clash with the SSC JE exam. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/telangana-public-service-commission-announces-exam-scheduling-adjustments --- Cite as: TGPSC AEE Civil examination scheduling conflict.
