Thailand’s Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) has focused on driving an innovation-led economy through events like the IP x Venture Rise Thailand 2026, which facilitated business matching across various technology sectors. 

To support the digital economy, the DIP is also working to combat online intellectual property infringement. By collaborating with rights holders and online platforms using ‘Notice and Takedown’ measures, authorities handled 140 cases between January and July 2026, resulting in the seizure of 322,077 items with estimated damages exceeding 104 million baht.
