The progressive metal collective The Ocean is preparing to release a new album titled ‘Solaris’. The project follows a period of transition for the band after the departure of several members, including vocalist Loïc and drummer Paul. 

Creative lead Robin Staps is directing the new album with a revised lineup consisting of three guitarists and two vocalists. The album is conceptually inspired by the 1972 film of the same name by Andrei Tarkovsky. To support the release, the band has planned international activities, including a performance in Morocco, a planned appearance in India in October, and a European tour scheduled for November and December.
