Preparations for Canadian singer The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ stadium tour in Jakarta included the opening of a pop-up merchandise store from September 24 to 27, 2026. Ticket sales for the two-day event at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) experienced high demand, with many categories selling out rapidly. To manage expected crowds for the September 26-27 performances, stadium management announced mobility plans. These included the temporary closure of the pedestrian bridge connecting JIS Station to the stadium and the provision of free shuttle buses. Attendees were also advised to use ride-hailing services or park in the Ancol area to avoid congestion around the venue. On September 26, 2026, Abel Tesfaye, known as The Weeknd, launched the tour at JIS with a 42-song setlist featuring hits such as ‘Starboy’ and ‘The Hills’. The performance utilized a dark, theatrical atmosphere, opening with ‘Baptized in Fear’ while the artist wore a mask. The production featured large-scale visual installations, including a giant golden robot designed by Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama. During the show, Tesfaye expressed appreciation for the local audience and stated his intention to return to Indonesia soon. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-26: The Weeknd launches After Hours Til Dawn tour in Jakarta The Weeknd kicked off his ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ tour at Jakarta International Stadium, featuring a 42-song setlist and massive visual installations by Hajime Sorayama. 9 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/the-weeknd-brings-after-hours-til-dawn-tour-to-jakarta ### 2026-09-23: Jakarta International Stadium announces access plans for The Weeknd concert The Weeknd’s upcoming concerts at Jakarta International Stadium will feature temporary pedestrian bridge closures and shuttle bus services to manage crowd mobility and traffic. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/jakarta-international-stadium-announces-access-plans-for-the-weeknd-concert --- Cite as: The Weeknd concert in Jakarta.
