The Municipality of Ioannina is hosting various theatrical productions throughout late August. 

Initially, the Culture Directorate scheduled an interactive touring production for children aged 4 to 12 titled ‘Sorry for the noise, but we are going to play ball!’. Running from August 20 to 31 across ten communities, the play uses football as a metaphor to address themes of cooperation, inclusion, and diversity.

Following this, the Frontzou Theater in Ioannina scheduled diverse performances, including a political satire comedy titled ‘Zitita Psestis’ (Wanted: A Liar) on August 27 and a modern production of Euripides’ tragedy ‘Medea’ on August 29.
