Polish authorities have conducted several operations targeting theft and misappropriation. In a major coordinated effort involving counter-terrorism units, railway security, and border guards, police dismantled an organized criminal group responsible for approximately 10 million PLN in thefts. The group, active in the Silesian and Lesser Poland regions since 2023, targeted vehicles, construction machinery, power tools, and railway infrastructure. Seven men were arrested in connection with the group.

In separate, smaller-scale incidents, police resolved cases of theft in Gorzyce and Rzeszów. In Gorzyce, an 18-year-old was detained for the theft of mobile phones from a sports field. In Rzeszów, a 31-year-old man was apprehended for misappropriating approximately 2,000 PLN from a found wallet.
