Dutch striker Thijs Dallinga has moved from Italian club Bologna to the Bundesliga. 

Initially, reports indicated that Werder Bremen was a primary interested party in acquiring the 26-year-old forward, who had struggled to meet expectations in Serie A. 

Ultimately, Dallinga joined FC Köln on loan. FC Köln General Manager Thomas Kessler noted that the club had “intensely evaluated” the player for his ability to contribute to the squad’s attacking quality. Upon joining, Dallinga stated, “I have always dreamed of playing in the Bundesliga and I am looking forward to it.”
