Thypoch has completed its Simera-C lineup of portable full-frame cine prime lenses with the release of the 100mm T1.9 telephoto lens. This addition extends the series beyond its previous 75mm limit, resulting in a total of seven focal lengths: 16mm, 21mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm.

The 100mm lens is designed for professional film production, featuring a 16-blade iris for smooth bokeh, minimal focus breathing, and support for 8K resolution. It is available in both Sony E-mount and Leica M-mount. The Sony E-mount version weighs 477 grams, while the Leica M-mount version is more compact at 451 grams. Shipping for the new lens was scheduled to begin in late October 2026.
