Tierra del Fuego is pursuing economic diversification through energy development and local innovation initiatives. The provincial government is seeking to attract national and international investment for onshore and offshore operations within the Cuenca Austral, as presented by Energy Minister Ma. Gabriela Castillo at an international summit in Rio de Janeiro.

In tandem with energy efforts, the province is fostering entrepreneurship through the TDF Innova contest. This program, held at the Universidad Nacional de Tierra del Fuego, supports winners in sectors such as clean energy, musical instruments, and tourism technology with investment funds and digital maturity diagnostics.
