Speculation regarding a competitive return to professional golf for Tiger Woods has intensified following footage of him practicing at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club. While Woods has not competed in an official tournament since July 2024, his recent practice sessions have led to rumors of a potential return at the U.S. Open or year-end exhibition events.

Reports from peers suggest a more structured timeline may be under consideration. Citing information from Woods’ business partner, golfer Kevin Kisner indicated that Woods might aim for a full schedule during the 2027 TGL season, with the Masters in April 2027 serving as a primary goal.

In the interim, Woods may participate in events such as the Hero World Challenge or the PNC Championship, where organizers have reportedly reserved a spot for him and his son, Charlie Woods. However, Woods has not officially confirmed a specific timeline for his return.
