Recent developments regarding the legacy of late musician Toše Proeski include new physical media releases and upcoming audiovisual productions.

Hit Records, a Zagreb-based label, has announced the exclusive release of ‘The Very Best of Toše Proeski’, a luxury double vinyl LP. This career retrospective features 16 songs, including hits such as ‘Igra bez granica’, ‘Jedina’, ‘Čija si’, ‘Bože, brani ja od zla’, ‘Pratam te’, ‘Srce nije kamen’, and ‘Nesanica’. The collection includes works by authors such as Miro Buljan, Antonija Šola, Leontina Vukomanović, Đorđe Novković, and Marina Tucaković. Miroslav Rus, editor-in-chief of Hit Records and a former collaborator of Proeski, described the project as an “honor and an obligation” to present the artist’s work in a high-quality format. The edition’s visual identity was designed by Igor Kelcecer.

Additionally, OHO Production unveiled a major multi-format film and television project at the Weekend. 19 festival in Rovinj. The production, involving creator Igor Stoimenov, producer Pece Taleski, and screenwriters Milana Vlaović and Andrej Volkashin, aims to include a feature film, a scripted series, and a documentary series. The team intends to move beyond Proeski’s public persona as a pop and rock star to explore the private individual, utilizing research and personal testimonies. The project is inspired by Proeski’s final interview, where he expressed a desire to “truly know himself” while feeling disconnected from his public image.
