Togo has expanded its Universal Health Insurance (AMU) scheme by opening eight new local offices in the Grand Lomé region. These offices, located within various health facilities such as the Dogta Lafiè Level 4 Reference Hospital and several Medical-Social Centers, are intended to bring administrative services closer to patients. 

The initiative aims to simplify procedures and reduce travel for insured individuals, who can use these sites to manage benefits, submit documents, and handle formalities related to chronic pathologies. This expansion follows recent efforts to digitalize services and harmonize care packages under the AMU system, which has been active since January 1, 2024.
