The TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET 9 (GPS 9) event is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at LIFORK AKIHABARA II in Akihabara. Hosted by ASCII, this free event allows attendees to test and compare various gaming hardware, such as PCs, keyboards, mice, and headsets, without the pressure to make a purchase.

Featured products include the NOLVA Reactor Mechanical All-Button Arcade Controller, a leverless controller for PS5 and PS4 with replaceable mechanical switches priced under 20,000 yen. Additionally, the MOJHON Storm (Gale 2) gamepad will be showcased. This device features adjustable trigger strokes via Hall sensors and microswitches, TMR sticks, and a 2000Hz wireless polling rate, all while being priced under 10,000 yen.

The event aims to provide a space where users can experience the tactile feel and quality of hardware that specifications alone cannot convey. Initial details highlighted a mystery-solving activity called ‘Akiba Quest Walk,’ where participants visit shops like Dospara, Sofmap, and Tsukumo to collect keywords for prizes. To manage crowds, organizers are offering ‘Fast Pass’ reservations for two specific time slots—13:00 and 15:30. These passes are limited to 20 people per session on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing for priority entry; general admission will be permitted once the priority queue has cleared.
