Actor Tom Welling, known for his role in ‘Smallville’, became the subject of social media attention after accidentally sharing an NSFW reflection in an Instagram Story. While attending New York Comic Con to celebrate the series’ upcoming 25th anniversary, Welling posted a photo of the New York City skyline with the caption ‘Hello, NYCC’. However, his reflection in a hotel window revealed he was unclothed.

The post remained visible for approximately 10 hours before being deleted. Welling addressed the incident with humor, later posting a video with the caption ‘I came for the views’. His former co-star Michael Rosenbaum also participated in the lighthearted response by posting a satirical photo.

Welling has continued to lean into the joke through further comedic content. Most recently, he collaborated with internet personality Haley Baylee in a video titled ‘pov: Tom Welling hires you as his new social media manager’, which plays on the self-aware humor surrounding the viral mishap.
