Tomás de Rocamora began its Liga Argentina de Básquetbol season with two consecutive away losses. On October 19, the team lost 65-62 to Deportivo Norte de Armstrong in the Southern Conference, despite a third-quarter push to narrow the score.

Following these defeats, the team prepared for its first home game against Pergamino Básquet. Team captain Franco Maeso indicated that the squad aimed to improve offensive performance and establish a strong home presence after experiencing difficulties during their initial road games.

On October 22, the team secured its first victory of the 2026-2027 season, defeating Pergamino Básquet 77-75 at the Julio César Paccagnella stadium. The match was marked by a delay of over 40 minutes caused by floor humidity and the disqualification of local player Jeremías Diotto at the start of the final quarter due to an unsportsmanlike foul.

Valentino Occhi led the victory for Rocamora with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. Other contributors included Diotto and Latorre, who scored 12 points each, and captain Franco Maeso, who added 10 points. For Pergamino Básquet, Adriano Maretto recorded 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.
