The Toronto Argonauts have secured consecutive victories in their CFL season. On September 12, the team defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 26-23, a win clinched by a 29-yard field goal from Lirim Hajrullahu on the final play. Quarterback Chad Kelly recorded 443 passing yards and two touchdowns during that matchup.

Following this, the Argonauts extended their winning streak to four games with a 30-28 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on September 25. Lirim Hajrullahu again provided the decisive scoring with a 36-yard field goal with just 27 seconds remaining in the game. This victory brought the Argonauts' record to 9-6.

During the win against Winnipeg, Chad Kelly recorded 290 passing yards and two touchdown passes, including long scores of 56 yards to Tyler Kahmann and 84 yards to Damonte Coxie. An early highlight included Janarion Grant returning a missed 45-yard field goal attempt by Winnipeg’s Sergio Castillo 128 yards for a touchdown.
