The 70th edition of the Tour de Slovaquie (Okolo Slovenska) concluded with Belgian specialist Lennert Van Eetvelt of Lotto-Intermarché securing the overall victory. Van Eetvelt, who had seized the yellow jersey during Stage 3, successfully defended his lead during the final fifth stage.

The decisive stage featured the historic ascent to Kráľová hoľa, characterized by a 12.9-kilometer climb with an average gradient exceeding 8 percent. Van Eetvelt withstood attacks from Henrique Bravo of Soudal Quick-Step and Jamie Meehan of Cofidis, ultimately winning the stage sprint to confirm his general classification title.

Earlier in the race, Hungarian rider Erik Fetter of United Shipping secured a notable victory in the fourth stage. Fetter was part of a five-man breakaway that spent approximately 172 kilometers ahead of the peloton to win the 197.5-kilometer stage from Beluša to Galanta, successfully defying expectations of a mass sprint finish.
