The Tour of Ordu international cycling races have commenced in Ordu, Turkey. Organized by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality and the Turkish Cycling Federation, the UCI Europe Tour event includes the ‘Ordu Coast to Summit’ and ‘Ordu Black Sea Classic’ races.

The competition utilizes the province’s diverse geography, moving from the Black Sea coastline through forests and waterfalls to high-altitude plateaus. The first stage covered 106 kilometers, taking athletes from Durugöl Kurtuluş Nature Park toward the Keyfalan Plateau in Mesudiye, a route that included 24 tunnels and challenging climbs.

Kyrylo Tsarenko of the Solution Tech Nippo Rali Team won the first stage following a decisive attack in the final section. Local officials, including Ordu Governor Muammer Erol and Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler, noted that the event serves as a strategic platform to promote the region’s tourism and natural beauty to an international audience.
