Trabzonspor has achieved recent success in both domestic and international competitions. In the Trendyol Süper Lig, the club secured a 2-0 derby victory against Beşiktaş at Papara Park, with goals from Ozan Tufan and Mohamed Salah. Following this, the team continued its winning form in the UEFA Conference League, defeating the Scottish side Hearts 2-0.

Building on this momentum, the club has secured a perfect start in the UEFA Conference League, earning six points from two matches. This performance places the team in fourth place in the group standings based on goal difference. Head coach Thomas Reis has praised the squad’s improvement and depth, noting that the team maintained control despite significant rotations. However, Reis has cautioned against complacency, emphasizing the necessity of continued seriousness to meet group stage objectives.

Mohamed Salah remains a central figure in the club’s success. In addition to his contributions in European play, he has scored eight goals in eight Süper Lig appearances. His presence has also reportedly had a notable impact on local tourism, attracting fans from Egypt and other regions to the city of Trabzon.

In a subsequent UEFA Conference League match, Trabzonspor defeated Hearts 2-0 again, moving to third place in the league phase standings. Mohamed Salah led the performance by scoring from a penalty kick and providing an assist for Franculino Dju. Under the management of Thomas Reis, the club has maintained an undefeated streak in its last five official matches.
