The Track Cycling World Championships in Shanghai have seen various international teams secure podium finishes.

Germany’s women’s track cycling team, consisting of Pauline Grabosch, Clara Schneider, and Lea Sophie Friedrich, earned a bronze medal in the team sprint after defeating a Russian team competing as neutral athletes. This achievement represents Germany’s first World Championship medal in this specific discipline since 2023. While the German men’s team did not medal, the women’s pursuit team recorded the second-fastest qualifying time.

France has also seen success at the championships, securing multiple silver medals. Etienne Oliviero took second place in the kilometer event, and the duo of Marion Borras and Clara Copponi earned silver in the Madison after lapping the peloton alongside the British team. These results follow an earlier silver medal for Benjamin Thomas in the points race.
